Lavender essential oil is a pure and organic oil.

Among the thousand properties of the lavender flower, the tranquilizing, sedative, antidepressant and balancing properties of the central nervous system certainly stand out: lavender in fact calms anxiety, agitation, nervousness, relieves headaches and disorders caused by stress , facilitates falling asleep and improves sleep quality.
A few drops of essential oil help to calm anxiety and stress-related disorders, which can worsen during the change of season or in particularly heavy emotional periods.
Lavender has natural antiseptic, healing and bactericidal properties: it can also be used for cleaning skin wounds, diluted with other natural oils or with physiological solution.
Relieves the pain of burns and disinfects skin irritations from insect, spider and mosquito bites.
Balsamic and decongestant, lavender, in the form of flowers or essential oil, is taken by inhalation to speed up the treatment of laryngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis, and colds.

AGAINST INSOMNIA: a few drops on a handkerchief placed on the bedside table or on the wrists. Another idea is to prepare a cushion filled with dried lavender flowers, to which to add a few drops of essential oil, to be placed near the pillow or on the bedside table. Or again, a few drops of essential oil in the humidifiers of the radiators.
TO PROMOTE RELAXATION: a dozen drops into the bath water, adding 1 glass of coarse salt; or in the basin for the foot bath 2 tablespoons of coarse salt and 3-4 drops of lavender essential oil.
AGAINST LICE: 2 drops diluted in a shampoo
AGAINST RHEUMATISM AND MUSCLE TENSIONS: a few drops of essential oil diluted in vegetable oil (almond oil, olive oil, coconut oil) to be gently massaged on the affected area
AGAINST HEADACHE: 1 drop on each temple to be gently massaged with small circular movements.
AGAINST COOLING AND SINUSITIS SYMPTOMS: a few drops in a basin of very hot water to breathe in the vapors by covering your head with a towel
AGAINST INSECT BITES: one or two drops diluted in a teaspoon of aloe vera gel or in a natural oil to facilitate application on the skin.
AS AN ANTI-SPASTIC: 4-5 drops of essential oil (always diluted in a base cream or in a natural oil) applied with gentle circular movements on the abdomen (in case of colitis or menstrual pain)
AGAINST JOINT PAIN: a dozen drops of essential oil combined with a green clay pack and leave to act until the clay is dry.
AROMATHERAPY: pour a little water and a few drops of lavender essential oil into the tray of the essential oil diffuser (for example in a candle diffuser). In this way, the fragrance of lavender essential oil will spread throughout the environment, giving you relaxation.
MASSAGES: lavender essential oil is useful for relaxing, anti-stress and decontracting massages. You can use it mixed in small quantities with aloe vera gel or with a natural base oil, such as sweet almond oil, olive oil, coconut oil. Massages with lavender essential oil are also indicated in case of rheumatoid arthritis.
AGAINST DANDRUFF: regularly massage the scalp by diluting a few drops of lavender essential oil in the shampoo, it helps fight dandruff, as well as activating circulation and also promoting hair regrowth.
AGAINST ACNE: lavender essential oil is particularly suitable for the treatment of acne as it helps to inhibit the bacteria that can cause skin infections and helps balance the secretion of sebum, as well as reducing the risk of scarring. You can add a small amount of lavender essential oil to aloe vera gel or a basic face cream before applying them to the skin in the critical spots affected by acne, or make a mask with green clay and a few drops of essential oil, leaving act about ten minutes.
